New Year, New Me…Nah, …. New Year, New possibilities!

The New Year brings so many wonderful things. New hope, new dreams, 365 new possibilities!

Every year I hear so many people saying things like “New Year, New Me” or “this year I am going to make this resolution” or “New year, my new diet plan is ____”

Have you ever heard people around you saying things like that?

Maybe you’ve even set resolutions for the year?

Do you have goals you want to achieve?

For me, this year I want to focus on two words grace and gratitude and writing the newest chapter in my life story.

When I think about a New Year it brings me so much joy and anticipation. I can’t wait to see where the New Year leads.
I think the New Year is wonderful, it seems almost automatically hopeful in a way.

At the beginning of the year you get a new calendar filled with 365 days that can be filled with whatever you choose.

A chance to make choices that could essentially lead you into the best year of your life.

It’s an amazing feeling, that feeling of Hope.

Hope that the year will be good to you.

Hope that your health will be good, the finances will be managed, the dreams will become realities and that at the end of this year you will look back and be able to reflect upon a series of wonderful events that have given you great memories to carry forward for years to come.

I know for me this year, I want to focus on the year as if I am writing a biography of my life. I want to focus on something every single day that is positive in nature.

I want to highlight something out of each and every day. It doesn’t have to be something large and outlandish, just something good that occurred that day that brought a spark of joy and a glimmer of hope into my life. Something that tells me that I am doing some things right and that not everything is a challenge or a negative symbol that I don’t have it all together.

The truth is that we are all human, we all have flaws and things that we can work on.’

We can all do a little better for ourselves, our families and even the way that we interact with others. We can all try a little harder, do a little more and be a little kinder.

We only get one life!

I think the New Year gives me the spark and motivation I need to kick start the year -working on living my best life, being 100% percent me and doing things that make me happy!

Because in the end, I want to do things that I can be proud of and reflect back upon and instantly get a smile upon my face and say “Wow, I really did that.”

I can’t wait to narrate the 365 page biography of life that I create this year, a series of highlighted moments that will become beautiful treasured memories that I will carry with me.

New year, 365 amazing opportunities and possibilities to make each day a wonderful story book memory!

I hope that you find some inspiration for the year ahead and make this your best year yet!
